LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN

Soleil Ketsana
I've been on and off the blogging train for several years now. I think I began one in 2006, but we know nothing happened there, so here I am, giving it another shot, and now that I have a clearer path in my life, maybe I'll be able to record my thoughts and experiences more consistently.

I want to start this by saying that my family is my life. Without them, I would rather not exist, so at least you get a picture of my priorities in life.

I am now 160-something lbs. Apart from my weight, many things about me has changed over the course of my years. Please allow me to tell you about myself now. First of all, I love life. I fear death--so everything that I can grasp and learn during my lifetime, I am all for it.

I am now based in Los Angeles, after a few years of being in the East Coast. We moved because we always had to fly here for our celebrity photo shoots, and with 2 kids in tow, and the worry of where to put our son (slash guard dog) for boarding while we were away, we felt that L.A. is a more suitable place for us to be at for the magazine.

We used to live right on the Hudson river, and would wake up to the skyline of NY every single day, and would sleep knowing that the city lights of Manhattan will keep our night from getting too dark. We could've lived in the City, but we decided that we wanted a little more space in our home. Our office is on Lexington Ave. in NY, and although NY will always be in my heart, I am now officially a Calfornia girl in mind and soul--until we change our minds and pack our bags for another adventure, that is.

My husband and I started BC Magazine a few years ago, and I humbly say that BC has grown to become a respected title in the U.S. and abroad. I will post some past and present accounts so you can see a bit of what we do. I have some stories to tell, and maybe you'll like it, maybe you'll learn from it, maybe not. I just hope this helps you pass time without making you want to pull your teeth out.

At present, I am horrified at the typhoon that struck Manila. My lovely friend Soleil Moon Frye kindly posted this entry on her twitter account with more than a million followers. Imagine the number of people who could possibly help.

God bless you all.
