MATHIS EATS SOLID FOOD

It is always bittersweet for me when my children enter a milestone in their young lives. It marks the beginning of a new foray into the world, and a sort of end of...babyhood. Next thing you know they'll be asking for permission to use the car--and naturally we would say yes (with me, their dad, and our dogs following stealthily a few vehicles behind, naturally).

But until that time comes, I will hold their hands as they tread the path into their adulthood, where, hopefully one spoon feeding at a time, I can guide them towards the right one to trek.

Here are some of the stuff I used for Mathis' first adventure with solids. They also came out in the Spring 2013 issue of BC US and the December-January 2013 issue of BC Philippines.

Sniff.

KELLY WEARSTLER RHAPSODY BOOK PARTY

Thank you so much for the invite, but this is but another rude awakening that this momma ain't in her 20s anymore (hasn't been for a long while now), because flying out would mean leaving the babies and a lot of responsibilities behind.

Whenever it was NYFW, I would always try to be in town for it. I love the energy in the City, but truth be told, there are some parties I would have wanted to attend. Like this one: Kelly Wearstler's Rhapsody Book Party. I'm a big fan of Kelly's design work.

Since I can't be there, I'll just virtually be present. So this is me, raising my glass, gyrating to Borderline. Huh? What do you mean that song isn't hip anymore and they didn't play it? Anyway, here are some photos from the party.

Congratulations to Kelly Wearstler! Sorry the fun didn't arrive.
